Residential Heat Loss Calculations
The Residential Heat Loss
Certificate is required for plan review of new homes or room additions
that have forced air heating systems. Examples of non-forced air
heating include radiant heat
or a room addition with a fireplace. The Residential HVAC Equipment Certificate with
the calculation sheet
attached, are included with your plans submittal
for review.
(Note: If your plans include forced-air heating and/or air conditioning systems, refer to the Residential Mechanical Plans Review handout.)
